LFS in or near Houston,TX

City pets on beechnut has variety of fish,food,equipments, other critters like rat,birds, geckos,rabbits etc. Extreme pet is decent if you're into something out of the ordinary. They sometimes have fish that most LFS considered semi-rare. Both are on SW side of Htown.
 
Both extreme pets and city pets are ok. Fish Ranch II is very well put together, All three of those stores are good for larger fish. fishland on westhiemer is great for little stuff. Fish gallery is very nicely ran, a little on the expensive side though. Tnt on highway six is usually worth checking out as well.

Sorry for the off topic but, I used to live at Westheimer and Montrose back in the day. Yes I am a guy and yes I like girls.

I just thought I would chime in, that is all, you may now have your thread back.

Oh, and I have no idea about LFS as I left back in '90, sorry.

Well, I don't know what it's like today, back in the day that area was the uhmm "artsy" part of town.

I am sorry about hijacking this thread but I started reminiscing and just had to spout...

I really liked their set up. I went to a few more around town, but couldn't buy anything since we were just driving in from Austin. Their soon to be new tank is fantastic. I wish I could work their just so I could clean it. They have pics on the site.

yeah I know i'm just messing with ya...There is another fish store somewhere up in 290. The place is dirty and smell horrible. Well they make it up with their low price though I have to ask a friend what it's called. I've only been there once.
 
I always see alot of CL adds for aquarium warehouse, but they just seem a bit overpriced to me.........
