Are there any good ones in the Indianapolis area? I know "The Reef" shut down, and that was the only one I was aware of. My parents live in Indy, and I moved out before I really got into the whole fish thing, so I never really payed much attention.

I didnt know the reef shut down thats too bad. There are a few in the area. Uncle bills is ok, the one in greenwood seems to have the most knowledgeable people.

If you are into salt water you can get into Premium Aquatics, they are only open to walk in on fri-sat. premiumaquatics.com

I'm pretty sure The Reef shut down, because it isn't where it was before, around 63rd and keystone, unless I am a retard and it's actually farther down keystone than I claim to remember.

Let me know when you're going to be around.

Sometime in the next few weeks. I first need to get a top/light and filter for the beast, and get my stand made. So when all that gets put into place, I'll start cycling the tank, and then worry about getting some fish.

The reef is still open.

There is also:

Main Street Pets in New Palestine - smaller selection, but they are more than happy to order for you. Great fish and they can get lots of stuff.

Pet Shop in Beech Grove: Decent fish, standard issue stocking. The fish I have bought from them are still doing well.

Pet Corral @ Keystone & Carson - Haven't been in there for a while. Was under ne management and doing a lot of changing the last time I was in. Had a OK selection. A few oddballs here and there.
