Sometimes to save the trouble of shipping fish I will sell to lfs
most give me 1/4-1/3 of retail
they no me and know the fish are well taken care of
so this petland store is about the highest priced store around

3" pbass $80
5" silver arow $60

I figurer they would be good to sell to I called with a nice pbass
8" orino
the kid on the phone quotes me $15 WTF
that was a few weeks ago
i am killing time today and decide to go talk to this ****head
same pitch (me sell you fish) the manager tells me "I cant give you anything for it" so I think he means not alot of money my mistake he said he could take the fish but for no money did the sign on the front change to UNICEF what a ass I laugh and start walking out and he offers me a trade for a giant red tail gourami with one fin

so he's a dick but what really pisses me off is I see $100+ fish that I know he didn’t order so some fool is giving this guy fish for free :screwy:

5'' silver arow for $60, dude they are $90-120 here for 3-4"!!!! Our stores here are soooooooooooooooooo over priced and cramped. Its like another fish store took a dump and these stores were the last turds to come out. I was in one the other day and saw they had some 2'' demasoni i asked how much and the guy was like $35!!! He also had Tropheus Moori redheads1.5" $45. I gotta open my store soon so i can under cut these guys and put them out of business

Thankfully we have enough avid fish keepers in town that if it can be captive bread it is in town by someone, so we usualy can get decent store credit or just trade with the breader. I got mollies comming out of every crack in my apt so i convert them to salty mollies and sell them for a little under half of what the LFS is selling them for. Its a pretty good deal. I usualy can get a trade for a newely fragged coral, i really like Scott the owner of Oddballs in tulsa, he hooks me up and i keep him in salty mollies.

If you buy 4 or more, I'll be glad to ship you 5 inch silver arowanas for $40 each....PM me...

Take a dump in a bag, tie it up with air and water like it's a fish and go give it to them like a fish for free and show how much you appreciate their business..

LOL

I agree his price on the pbass for 80.00 is high but the rest is normal lfs stuff. Most won't give anything for fish and if they do it isn't much. Even you're good lfs' only give 10-20.00 for a fish cause most don't really want them or don't know if they can move them or not.

Importracer- thanks for the offer but i was just stating that 3-4 in arrowanas here are very expensive.

Casey- i know i travel to tulsa 3-4 times a year for fish, and scott gives me awesome deals. i love his demasonis, so much i have started a 55g with about 30 of his. They look awesome and he loves the fact i travel 2 hours to just see him. alot of the other places have decent fish, but he has great customer service and that means alot.

OscarHook- its always fun to talk to people that are from around the area (2 hours isnt that far) The whole group that congregates around Scott and oddballs is a good group. If your into saltwater at all you could totaly come to some of out OMAS group meetings, they are a lot of fun. Its nice being around people with the same passion and OMAS (oklahoma marine aquarium society) is a great place to meet them. And i totaly agree about the demasoni. My demasoni from scott is beautiful. He totaly hooks me up with cichlids.
