Lfs near Santa Monica CA

Well I am going to Santa Monica in september and I was thinking of maybe getting some fish that I can't get up here . So what are some good ones. I did run into one problem with my plan though of getting cheaper, cooler fish. How am I going to get them past security and on the plane?
