Great fish, had one from a pup till it was about 5 inches long, gave it to a friend, its pretty kewl if you have a sand substrate, they are called earth eaters, because they take mothfuls of sand and even small gravel and sift it out thru its gills, i suppose extracting whatever eddible they can, they make a sand bottom look like a war zone, they dont dig big holes just a mothfull spit it out, all over the tank. Not overly aggressive even when bigger, but not a wimp either. Put him in a tank once with a half grown convict that was a bully, within 5 minutes after he tried that on the Geo he was lookin for a place to hide but after the Geo made his point there was no more fighting in that tank. No special care will eat about anything and peacful until picked on, no special water requirements.
