I recently went out to get a few things and it was pretty eye opening to see that none of my usual stores had any frozen goods available and many of the display tanks were completely empty.

Fortunately I was still able to get what I needed and it looked like they all still had a good supply of dry goods, but it made me wonder how they must be doing right now that they dont have any of their bread and butter items available. Combined with reduced traffic I'm sure.

Makes you wonder how things are going to look for the hobby once this whole pandemic/unrest settles down.

-Please dont turn this into politics or conspiracies, we already have too much of that garbage, keep it fish related-

We still have all our normal supplies here, fish imports have just been slow and expensive as the international exporters are getting back on their feet and recouping losses.

Yes the Pandemic is affecting the lfs in my area because some pet owners are staying home and probably shopping online.

Went to an LFS for the first time in about 4 months yesterday. It was full of fish and people and seemed to have the usual amount of stock. Bought some frozen food for my reef and the freezer was full. This may be because it's a great LFS and draws people from all over. Smaller hole in the wall type spots may be having a much harder time in all of this, but they are actually one of the few businesses that have been considered essential and remained open in the US I believe.

That may be a key difference right there. To be fair, everything close to me is very small and hole in the wall type, which even under normal circumstances they probably run a tight ship
