I am starting to get interested in plecos, but I wanted to know if anyone knows of stores that have large collections to choose from. Or at least ones I know I would be able to get, so I can do research before picking them up. I live in San Francisco, and could travel anywhere within 50 miles.

However, have you considered Aquabid or some of the sellers on MFK? I've ordered from "snook21," and so have several other members of MFK. We've been satisfied with our order from him.

If your looking for plecos. Your best bet is to go to Hung Ming on Geneva. I have not seen any other lfs in the sf bay area that has a better pleco selection than Hung Ming. If they don't have what you want just ask Roger and he can get it for you.

Hung Ming, that place is hella expensive. And low quality plecos. They do have harder to find plecos but im not gonna pay 50 bucks for a green phantom sorry
Green phantom juvies usually run 30 to 40. Adults can go for 75 bones sometimes. I'd pay 50 for a green phantom. Which green phantom was it? Subviridis or the other one?
