LFS Poly ID

LFS had these guys in at $34.99 each labeled as "Polypterus" (about 8-10" each) Wasn't sure of the ID, they were really active though.

Not sure what NY prices go for, but that seems pretty pricey over here. They usually go for around $12-$20

Positive palmas polli. Not a great deal but not crazy overpriced either. For that size I usually see $15-25 range.

okay, usually these guys price their fish fairly reasonably, (they even have emperor tetras in, 3 for $5, most tetras are usually $.99 a piece). Which is why I was curious if this was a rarer species that I was unaware of.
