we all have complaints about our LFS. They also have rare fish periodically. Every time you browse the LFS, post news here.
Today I saw something that makes me want to change my BDay tank from 30 to 150 (my parents would never go for that.) An Albino Channel Catfish!
They also had a baby 3'' Clown Knifefish that was dark gray for some reason. And a few nice Pike Cichlids! The Channel Cats are not new and its kinda cool to follow them and watch them grow every week. The Waether Loaches are getting big too.
I also saw a small Clown Loach eating a dead Glowing Zebra Danio.

The other day i went to the lfs and they had some nice gulpers for £165, a few nice plecos, pseudoras niger which were priced at £28 but then turned out to be £70 (rip off), a black aro for £135 and a few nice royal knives for £28, walalgo leeri for £135 and a few other interseting fish, in all it was good value with the exeptions of a few which were ridiculousley overpriced the staff were friendly and helpful with the exeption of one very rude woman.

im going to my lfs again tomorrow...its like a big fish market,u need minimum 5 hours to check out all the shops...!

bottomfeeder. what kind of pike cichlids did they have?

saw like a 3 foot hoplias aimara at my lfs two days ago. thing is a beast.

other news from the lfs... i hate fish stores with all the tanks connected to the same filter system. leads to lots of sick fish an an inability to treat those fish cuz they'd have to treat like 1000 gallons even tho the fish is only in a 20g.

its lime green (faded lime) with a yellow stripe on the flank bordered in black. someone said its a Saxatalis.
