Bellevue, WA
Hey all, this is my first post, anyway I am wondering if there are any good, recommended LFS near the Bellevue, WA or Seattle area? Mainly I am looking at eels (snowflake Moray pref.) and stingrays (motoros only). Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you!

Quick edit, also I didn't see any regional subforums except in the classifieds so I figured this would be the best place to post.

kings discuss is alright for fresh and for salt qt aquarium. they are both on king street off jackson in chinatown. I hear the best shop in washington is aquarist world in burien.

i go to aquarist world at least once a week. Great little place but he doesnt have much for eels on hand. can most likely order anything you want though.
Hes actually in white center between delridge and 16th. little north of roxbury

a place for pets in burien has some great stock, and good prices, they even order from rapps and snook sometimes, and last i was there they said they could order me just about anything i wanted

Yep. 'A Place for Pets' is where I got my Peru Oscar, and they got her from Rapps.

And let's not forget about Pet-Pourri in Everett. You'll want to talk to Clark or Jesse.

First of all, thank you all very much for your help. I stopped by Aquarist World and Blue Sierra (in Issaquah) today. Aquarist world had a huge selection (mostly fresh water) and had some awesome baby motoros born just a week ago. But the place just seemed a little dirty. A lot of the tanks had some bad algae build up and the had some big oscars and a big pleco (I think) in a tiny little tank. I dunno maybe I caught them on a bad day, who knows.

Blue Sierra was very clean and very friendly but not much selection. Ill be sure to check out A Place for Pets sometime in the next week or so. Thanks again guys

Algae in the tanks is usually a good sign. It means the water is in good shape. But I, also, have taken several shops down a notch in esteem after seeing Oscars mistreated. You'll never see that at PetPourri, though. Their only overgrown fish is the oxydoras niger in their 265g display tank, and they are in the process of unloading him right now. He was probably a foot long when he went in there and just kept right on growing.

Definitely go to pet pourii in everett. Or king discus, his brothers shop (aquarist world), EZ aquarium in white center
