I recently moved to N.E. Philly area (Trevose) and I was wondering if anyone happens to know of any good LFS in the area? I need some supplies and would like to check out a cool place I have never been to.

Thanks.

There's the Hidden Reef (thehiddenreef.com)which is your best bet, huge store that has probably any supply item you may need,or they can order it for you.Large salt and freshwater fishroom also.Just down the street is FishFactory on 413.The PetsPlus stores used to be worth checking out but they have become Petsmart wannabees.

Thanks for the recommendation! I think I will go check it out now... :D
Glad to help, let us know what you think of the stores.

I just got back from the Hidden Reef and I was quite impressed! That place is gigantic. So were the potholes in the parking lot that almost swallowed my car. :WHOA:

HaHa I took a co worker there for the first time and he could'nt stop complaining about them, and we were in his big pickup truck. It's like a mine field.

They had some pretty nice SA/CA cichlid specimens. Some nice larger Satanoperca as well that I was eyeing as a possible buddy(ies) for mine.

They also had a $10.00 minimum for debit card purchases so I wasn't able to get some food I wanted cuz I didn't have the cash nor did I really have more than $10.00 to spend. :thumbsdow

if you have the time to drive out to lancaster you can try (Thatfishplace).

They've got some things on their stocklist that are worth looking into so I might be gearing up for the two hour drive pretty soon.
