Hi, my large(17 inch) silver arowana has what appears to be Columnaris manifesting itself on gaps in her scales(due to long, long drive & transition of owner) I've been treating it by label with Maracyn Plus but it doesn't seem to be helping much. Tomorrow is going to end the treatment, and the fish is looking worse than when I started.
As the pictures show, the eyes are fairly cloudy, as well as some cotton-like growths, which are coming off into the water. I've been doing 90% water changes every morning(and the mornings after the treatments) for over a week, and still no dice.
I went out and bought non-iodized salt, and 3% Hydrogen Peroxide last night, in the hopes of trying a bath/dip of either one.
Can anyone tell me which should be more effective, and what exactly I should do?(Or if it's even Columnaris!)
Note: This is not the tank she is normally in, she's in the 250gallon pictured below, but her eyes clouded, so I moved her ASAP. The other fish appear to be healthy.
Thanks in advance!
