Lid for rimless tank- Help

Anybody know of a product or DIY solution for adding a lid to a rimless tank?

I dont think i have the right tools or skills to create a wooden rim ( so thats not what im looking for)

my glass is 1/2" dimensions of the foot print are 48x24-

I've seen clips for the nano tanks but just looking for other ppls work around.

Have a hardware store cut you a piece of glass. You can buy stick on "handles" like they use on the marineland glass hoods.

i got glass lids cut for my tank, and i used clips found on amazon.

You can have some glass cut into strips and do a euro brace style around the inside just low enough for the lids to sit on. Then get glass lids cut to the inside dimensions.
Its a little more work but the results are nice.

thanks for the ideas- i've never seen glass avail at HD in like sheets or pains- is it typically a special order
