I've been trying to decide whether to get a sanchezi or a rainbow wolf, I think I'm more than likely going with the wolf as it seems to be more active. However this is my tank http://catalogue.tropicalmarinecentre.co.uk/Detail.aspx?sku=3027&lang=en and as you can see it has no lid so I need some ideas on making one or getting one from somewhere.

I need the top to be clear because of lighting. My idea is to make a sort of pelmet out of MDF and then insert either perspex or glass in the middle. How strong are these fish? Will it be heavy enough?

Anyone got any other ideas?

(I just noticed they didn't give me the sump!)

The light grading that is used for commercial lighting its knotched square plastic that can be cut to fit fairly easily. It was recommended to me when i started my tank. And from what i can see from mine its better to not under estimate these guys.

Thanks for the reply but I didn't quite understand (probably me being stupid!) what do you mean by light grading?

What about a net? That way he can jump without hurting himself but not so slack that he can get out

I'm pretty sure he/she meant light grating, otherwise known as egg crate or drop ceiling panels. It usually comes in white or silver and has square openings.

Ahh yeah I know egg crates. The only thing is it will have to be cut a little bigger than the tank as there is nothing to rest it on and then I will have to put something on top to weigh it down. It's the easiest option though. I suppose I could use it until I work out something more permanent
