Life Expectancy

Just a quick noob question ....can anyone tell me roughly how long Clown Loaches live and how many should be in a tank(I have them in a 5ft Tank) this tank is a community tank with quite a few species mainly different types of Plec,s and Loach?

Some people say 7, some people say 15, some people say 40-50 years. Who knows who's right

I'd say the only definite way to find out is find a sample of big wild loaches and find out their ages.

i've seen a couple of member's here with 10" plus c/l's that's about 20plus year's old...think for your 5ft tank a decent school of at least 10 or so wont be a probelm.. with good filtration and water care..i've got 54 c/l's in a 4ft tank..
