1st episode tonight was the balls!
For you in the US... it might be on the internet now, not sure if you have a channel showing it but it's a bbc production.
Included from what I remember now:
1) Marine Iguana's on the galapogos
2) A species of lizard from the canary islands that had a very interesting and new (only in the last 20 year or so) relationship from some interesting plant
3) Tortoises battling
4) Puff adder/reticulated python eating a deer- talk about their feeding habits and energy conservation
5) Amphibians including waxy monkey frog and a small bit on dart frogs and their combat
6) Loggerhead turtle and nesting
7) Garial and relationship with young
8) armadillo lizard social and defensive actions
9) A trip to madagascar to look for different chameleons... Sir Davids personal quest to find the pygmy chameleon... he did lol.
and probably a couple of others I've forgotten and a bit on dinosaurs for you Seth
The main theme of this was heat and the suns energy and their role with reptiles and amphibians. This was a general introduction to the animals, I think their will be dedicated programmes to crocs, snakes, amphibs and turtles/tortoises and lizards in the next episodes.
