Here is my story. All my life ever since I saw my first pleco I thought that they never moved. Until of corse I bought two of my own only to be proven wrong. Now everywhere you go (Doctor's dentst etc.) they have a pleco, no matter what. But they all act the same, never ever more. Mine are constantly moving and so are others owned by people on this forum. What the heck is up with those motionless ones? Are they nocturnal? Not cared for properly? Anyways Plecs rule!!!
Also at Petland by my house they have a Green Phantom Pleco, what type it is i'm not sure. Basically it's a lime green version of a brittlenose.

I would buy that^^^^^

You should send it to me.

i agree with Pharaoh...bt send it to me instead. haha

That is Baryancistrus demantoides, or an L200. Out of all my plecos, they are the only ones that do anything to the glass. (Still not fantastic, but better than the rest. I'm not sure how plecos even got a reputation for being good glass cleaners.) These guys live in my discus tank and do well. What other kinds of plecos do you keep. These guys don't get very big (like 6 inches maybe 7). IME they are pretty passive and I would be concerned they might be easily bullied. Great pleco. Just make sure they get some veggies and wood in their diet!

well it is 60 bucks though

That's why you need to buy it and give it to me. LOL

Nice, most plecos tend to be nocturnal, my pleco tank goes mad the second the lights go off. Good luck raising the little fella

My Green Phantom has a peculiar habit of eating ALL the skin off the Zucchini b4 being even interested in any of the flesh. He also has a liking for shrimp meat.

Same here. I'm not sure what the green phantoms are going for right now, but I got mine a while back for like $30 a piece and they were about 5 inches.

I got mine for abt 40 bucks. on the other end of the spectrum....an L128 is going for 80 bucks...sigh...
