ive always wanted one but never had the money

i think their great!

but add one of their Fluidized bed filters for bio fitleration
They look like theyd def do the job an would reduce any wire clutter created by heaters in tanks. Im thinking of getting one for my next tank when I outgrow my cuurent 120Gal.

Id definately do more research on them an have to design a stand that offers easy access to it.

ya Ive seen those to there pretty Similar. I wonder what a good combination would be (probally depends on the tank size) 2 - 3 of the heater sections would probally be a Definate.

For my new tank, arriving early april (yeah, I know it a long wait. But now I can make the filtration, and piping and stuff good) I am gonna get 3 Rainbow Lifegard Wervelbedfilter FB300 for biological filtration.

Just for the amount of space saved, it's a good product. I hope it works well.

Because when it does(gonna check it out first, when I am not happy about it I am going to make a sump anyway) I am gonna place a small 30 gallon (grow-out) unter the "main" tank (6*2.2*2.2=200gallon) what I never could have done, when I had to buy a sump.

sorry to drag up an old post, but doing some searching, and seeing if anyone since this has any type of feedback on these pentair lifeguard systems. Been thinking if I start from scratch with a larger tank this is what I might want to go with.

there ok ocean clear is a lot better more money but well worth it the one life guard thing I like is the one for the heater I have those on most of my tanks but I don't like to use the filters there are mutch better choices out there...............go with ocean clear you wont but sorry

ive been looking into these too they sound really good and i like all the clutter under the tank with out having a sump i like the custom water flow intake and return set up i might buy one for when i do my 120 this summer
