I came across 4 incomplete sterilizers. 3 of them are lifegard QL-40 and the other is a lifegard QL-8. I was wondering if it would be worth the trouble to fix one up or could they be used for something else. 1 of the 40's has a fixed sort of half pipe on inside wall and the other 2 have a loose pipe connected to the bottom and some sort of egg crate strainer in the bottom. I have 1 ballast and 1 bulb and all 3 are missing the quartz sleeve. It's not going to fit under my stand so it will either have to go behind it or lay on it's side if thats possible. I was told the bulb had only been used twice and I am not sure how long that was. The QL-8 has the quartz sleeve but no bulb or ballast. Am I waisting my time or is this worth fixing up?
