I have a 180g glass marineland tank that is not drilled and busy running 3 AC110s. I was thinking about getting a Lifereef overflow (double) and getting rid of the AC110s. Considering the price tag to do this, do you guys think it is worth it?
The stock of the tank is 1 10in rhom and 1 5in manueli (divided tank) so the AC110s are plenty of filtration. This would be more for the look and ease of maintenance.
The reason I am looking at Lifereef is that they are clearly the best overflow boxes, I am horrible at DYI so that is out of the question. I also hate cleaning canister filters so it is this or the AC110s.
I am guessing I would do either a 55g or 40g breeder as the sump.
