I got new light fixtures to help grow plants. But with the increased light, my IT's arent stable like they used to be. Will they come around eventually?

My Indo tigers never liked strong lighting. to maintain their stability, I have to use a 20 w 2 ft t8 tube, in a 5 ft 100 g tank. any thig higher spooks them, and I HAVE NO HIDING SPACES.

im using a 60w and they seem to be doing fine.

im using 130w with spurts of 260w on a 55g. is it just because they are meant for low light conditions and have big eyes?

for some reason they are more active when the light is on in my tank. also they do have a big eye. they are cool fish but they look special ed sometimes.( no offense to special Ed people.)

Ive always kept my dats in brightly lit tanks and they have always been happy and stable.

Well, general opinion is bright lights OR dim lights? solution is there, try both for a period of 2 or 3 weeks (lights on timer) and keep us posted.:)

I believe they'll stabalize eventually. When I first put a light strip on my tank (it's bright, but not sure what type) my Datnoids got spooked and all turned unstable. But now, about 5-6 weeks later, they are doing great. Active and stable most of the time, with the light on.
