Is a Room light that is on longer then 8hrs of the day Bugg a fish out?

It really depends on the fish - some prefer the dark and others do not mind it. I do not think that room light is all that strong to bother the fish, nor is 8 hours too long.

i agree with vitaliy. but remember some species would prefer to be in dim light conditions and not bright at any time, but you can get around it

I always figure that as long as you don't leave it on overnight you will be fine. I figure the fish can sleep when i do. Although i do feel silly when i have insomnia and i change rooms as to not wake my fish.

Just thought it was little to much for them.... I kinda pass out around 2-3am and the sun kinda comes up around 5ish here so... Should i just Dim the room? Or do u think my LMB will mind.

That does seem like too much time completely awake for them. Can you tell if they ever calm down and go to "sleep" (rest at the bottom). You might want to consider putting a sheet or towl over the tank to block out the light when your going to have a late night. It couldnt hurt to be safe.

WEll when thos late night rolll around he seems peace full. I just turn on the tv for him and he will sit still and whach it. But ill will cover the tank a few times
