ive decided im going to order a 1x55watt kit from ah supply for my 20 gal long tank which is moderately planted. the only confusion i have is with the power compact bulbs. what is the difference between the 6700k and others like the 10000k. also what is a actnic bulb and what is a daylight bulb. Which bulb should i order to optimize my plant growth with co2 and ferts. thanks

The stickies will answer many of the questions you have. Actinic is a bulb primarily used in saltwater applications, and you will gain nothing from having them on a planted tank. the K rating stands for kelvin. 6700K is the temperature you want to have.
