Light bulb option.

Should I go 6700k or dual 6700k/10000k? This is for a planted tank, i'll have 3.25 wpg.

6700K will yield better plant growth, 10,000K will have a more white or blue looking light, and will yield far less growth. I would recommend doing purely 6700K, but if the yellowish light isn't what you like, you can also try an 8,000K bulb.

i like to use combos of lights. i would go with the 6700/10000.

why not 6500k and a 8000k

the 1000k defeats the 6500k's job...
