Hi,
I havent posted for a long time due to moving countries 3 times. I have always kept large aquariums running at least 3 or 4 (usually 2 FX6 and 2 Eheim 2262) so i ok with filter setups etc.
One thing i have never tried is a small planted Betta aquarium, which is what i am trying now, I wont bother telling the setup as my question is about lighting.
I have a light and it has 3 modes, day, moon, and DIY......my light is currently set to: 09:30 - 21:00 on 100% RGBW, then 21:00 - 00:00 on 50% RB only.
However i know this is not good, so now i have the sump set up and cycled, and everything is alive and planted the way i want, could someone lease have a look at the 2 attached images, these are the insructions for the light i have.
In DIY mode there are 8 time slots that cycle over 24 hours, does anyone here have a good suggestion as to what cycle i should use for the lighting?
I have zero clue as i have never had planted tank, so i have no idea about how long, how bright or what colours of light to use when!!!
any help would be amazing, if someone could break it down into 8 segments with colour brightnesses even better!!!!!
please advise, and thankyou
