wich lights are consider the best? i need to buy lights for two tanks and want to invest in something good

O_O no light can be the best? you can spend 2000$ on a MH and it will do nothing but grow algea and kill most of your plants without c02 where as a T8 might work for your plants but might not produce the right PAR for the depth of your tank making it useless.

If you are just after a light too see the fish a T8 or LED are your best bet you could go a t5 but really not much different in lighting effects.

Not really sure what your asking, if your after brands I cant help we have different brands here I believe?

T5 should do the job for most tank.

I use the Aquaticlife brand on my 800 gallon. two 60'' T-5, 4 lamps plus led's. IMO they are some of the best lights I have ever owned. They have built in fans and timer, set and go. I Never have to touch my light again. They provide plenty of lighting and they are hung from the ceiling about 18'' above the tank and still provide great lighitng for a 4' deep, 3' wide tank.

I've seen competition winning tanks lit with diy T5 bulbs hung from the ceiling, and i've seen it done with MH...

Any type of light can be great depending on what you need it for and how asethically pleasing you want / need it to be...

Id get these lights if I could get any lol so nice and smell yet so much power!! they make weaker ones for FW so you dont get an algae over load!
