I just added 2 amazon swords and 2 anubias's. My tank is in front of a large window so it gets a descent amount of sun light. I was wondering which bulb would be better, the lifeglo 2 or aquaglo (48"). Also does it really matter because the plants receive sunlight.

Aquaglo bulbs are the wrong spectrum, and temperature for plants. These bulbs will help algae grow, but your plants will not gain anything from it. The Life-glo 2 bulbs are the right color temp, and spectrum for aquatic plant growth.
i went with reg bulbs from home depot. look for the daylight bulbs. lots of growth plus they are cheaper.
