LIGHTING....COLD CATHODE

Ok I have read on here that someone said that Cold Cathode light from ebay would make a great moonlight for your aquarium.

Ok... so i bought one and have no idea how to hook it up. Can anybody help me?
 
strip the red and black wires off the inverter cabling (the ones that have the molex connectors) and discard the connectors keep the switch and its wires if you want (I'd swap it out for something water resistant though.)

Strip the wires going to an adjustable 12Volt coverter (300mA from walmart will work great.)
On the red and black cables, red is 12V positive, black is ground, attach those to the inverter properly (figure it out by either trial and error or meter.) and plug it in!

A word of caution, the little box that the lights plug into puts out enough juice to kill you. DO NOT let it come in contact with water!

I didn't take pictures of mine as I built them, but its easy enough.
