Lighting for 2 gallon nano

I either want to go with a LED desk lamp or just a CFL bulb.

What kind of CFL bulb would work well with my 2 gallon tank? I will be planting it by the way

The Hampton Bay desk lamp with a 27w 6500k CFL bulb is pretty popular among nano planted keepers. I picked one up last week but have not taken it out the box yet.
