This is my first post and i have a question for all of you MonsterFishKeepers. I have recently purchased a six foot 210 gallon aquarium and I have a question about lighting. I currently have a 125 gallon planted tank that has two 4' shop light over it. My 125 has glass frame supports but my 210 has the typical aqueon plastic frame. My concern/question is how high above my 210 do these lights need to be so that the top frame of my 210 will not melt? Do t8 shop lights get hot enough to melt the frame? Any suggestion comments would be greatly appreciated.
