Hey everyone,
I am having some regrets about the home depot lighting I put on my tank and am thinking about upgrading to a 'Tek Light T5 High-Output Fixture (Black) - 60" 4x80W'. I was just wondering if anyone here had any suggestions on lighting that may be somewhat inexpensive. I was also thinking about adding LEDs.
Any suggestions?

Thanks
Larry

Geez, are you planning on growing plants? i had a fishneedit 4' 4 bulb fixture on my 180g to grow plants, and it sat about 8" or so above the tank. If your just lighting, then get a 4' 2 bulb fixture from fishneedit.com, i would say possibly 10,000k bulbs, you might get green algea, but just let it run its cycle and it should burn out. Just hang the light a few inches above the top, like 3", and it should easily be bright enough.
