lighting for central americans

ill keep it simple what lighting do you guys use?
what will get the best colours outta my lil guys?

i currently run 2x 80w t5 5ft tubes 1 white 1 blue
2x 54w t5 4 ft tubes both white
1x t8 blue light 4 foot.

dont get me wrong these lights are obviously sufficient but i look at some of you guys tank and am just amazed how you get the best colours out of your fishes

any input appeciated

Your lights are better than mine, and I think my colors speak for themselves. Keep reading and take good care of them...that is all you will need from here..I like the way tannins bring out a fishes color...I have a piece (of drift wood) in all of my tanks.

I have a single 48" T5 10,000k over my 120, i keep it at the very front makes the fish really pop out against the black background

I use t8 40w 18000k PowerGlo tubes.I have found this the best in suiting a wide range of colors.
