Thank but have already decorated room so not really an option.I just use led spot lights sunken in the ceiling above
Just looked and over £350! They also in multiple strips that I don't like, after a smart self contained unit ideally.Lunar LED mate they are very good and you won't get anything cheaper that I know of if purchasing purpose built LED for that size of tank. If you do find something cheaper and better let me know as I need to light my new 8 footer but can't afford anything right now.
I have used some cheap self adhesive ones from ebay for now and they are not too bad
Good luck getting a contained unit to cover a wide tank at a decent price. I found I had to look at marine type set ups and 2 or 3 units which meant well over a grand in cost, so I thought the Lunar LED were a good price in comparison. Yes they are multiple strips but I have mounted mine onto a piece of white acrylic and suspended them from ceiling.Just looked and over £350! Probably just buy two of the ones I've got then which are Arcadia classica stretch led and clip together somehow.
Really like them on current tank as have a bright setting but also half setting which I use mainly as gives an Amazon style which is perfect for Rays. Are only about £80 each too. Check them out?

I will take a look at the ones you suggest. Have you any pics of your set up with these on please?
Cheers
