well durning a cleaning i found out there was something really wrong with my 2 40 gal tanks. i kept getting small shocks when i dipped my hand in. I got it marrowed down to the lighting fixtures for both tanks. These have seen some use and not sure how old or anything about them. Got the tanks from someone awhile back. on that note i need to know what kind these are and what kind i should get. These are 30" long hoods with long tubes.
my next question would be what is the best light for the tank. i just need the basic light. nothing fancy. and where is the cheepest to get one. remember i still have the hood part of the old lights so maybe getting one at home depto and scrwing it into the hood will be cheeper.
i'm not a little to no budget so the cheepest the best. i've allready checked craigslist but not seeing much for lights. any help would be nice
