I have never been one thats worried about my lighting before so ive never really expanded my knowledge of them but as i get larger and larger tanks im starting to get more selective with the lights/bulbs i choose....so if i could get a little help/info on what type of lighting fixture,bulbs,etc...would work best that would be awesome and greatly appreciated. I have done some research but it seems everyone has their own opinions...i know that will be the case here as well but i trust yalls opinions more lol... I want a light that is well rounded for color and will light my tank fully and well. This fixture would be for a 110g 6'x2'.

Any and all thoughts or comments are welcome, Thanks everyone!

For bulbs 6500k is mostly for planted tanks and is a sort of pink light, 10000k is a bright white that penetrates to the bottom.

For larger setups, or I should say longer, I like to use multiple strips to maximize coverage. I have 5 separate ones on my 8' and 4 on my 6'. Easier for me to direct the light where I want it using smaller more mobile strips.

What kind of tank will this be? Planted? Fish only? Combo? You can get by with much less light and in turn much less algae growth with less lighting, but certain plants will not do well without a fair amount of wattage in certain spectrums.

Thanks for the help and this will be a fish only tank.
