I just got a 37 gallon tank, that I'm going to plant for my angels. The distance from bottom to the T5 HO light is right at 22 in. Running a 6700k bulb. This should be plenty of light for any type of sword, anubus, or cabomba correct? But what about Micro sword (lilaeopsis mauritius), ludwigia, or scarlet temple?

Also is ten hours enough for these plants? I used to keep the light on for 12 in my ten gallon and had algea problems so I'm thinking I should cut back.

You should be fine with that light for the micro sword. Ludwigia will depend on the species, and the red temple will not grow very fast. Ten hours is okay.
