ok i have a 75 gallon saltwater what the min watts for the tanks to get enough lighting..will 500 watts be good

depends on what you plan to keep. i'd say it'd be nice for some of the stonies you have/available.
id go for a nice set of T5 HO's. The nove extreme pro will be a nice set and will work very well for anemones. marinedepot.com and fostersmith.com both carry them. its important that you have individual reflectors for each bulb, this will give you most bang for your buck so to speak.
