Lighting question!!!!

Hello,
My light randomly cuts off and on on its own. I changed the bulb and it does the same thing, some times if i hit it, it comes on. Do you think its the ballast or end caps? how do i fix it? is it cheaper to fix or buy a new one? it is a 4ft light. Thanks everyone!

I had the same thing happen to an old light of mine. I eventually figured out to take the starter out everytime I turned it on. You'll have to put it back in to turn it on, and then back out. Just push it down and turn it. As far as the real problem, not sure; but it was a quick fix.
