Lighting question

So I'm setting up a display 90 and I'm trying to use as much of what I have laying about as possible. I want some plants, want them to do well, but not really a PLANTED tank. In rooting about through light fixtures I found a 36" coralife cf double 192 w fixture. I may need to swap out the bulbs, currently it's got a 10000K and an actinic. Do I need new bulbs? Can I get by with swapping the actinic for a 6700K? The only other fixture I have not in use is a 36" nova extreme t5 ho, 78w with a 10000K and a "freshwater" bulb. I can upgrade to a 48" fixture, but probably not until end of April.

Bangs forehead to keyboard. Let me add some specifics. It'll be SA, with mopani driftwood. Soft water, pH ~6.7 maybe a bit lower. Plants I'm thinking of swords, anubias, val, java fern and of course, open to suggestions.

anubias and java fern might be fine. the vals and sword might not work out really hard to say. keep them right under the light and hope for the best.

Thanks. I'll swap the actinic for a 6700K, and start looking for a proper 48" t5 ho slr.
