Hey all, I have an Odyssea 48" fixture that I bought about 2 years ago. It runs 4 48" tubes that are not marked for size, but are slightly larger in diameter than a T-5. Also, they are 2-pin bulbs with the pin spacing the same as a T-8, but the bulbs are smaller than a T-8. I would guess they are about a T-6, but I can't find that size bulb ANYWHERE. My plants are starting to suffer from the lack of light. Can anyone tell me where I can find these bulbs???

Power compact fluorescent? If so you might have to order them if the LFS does not have them.

measure the diameter. T5=5/8", t8=8/8"(1"). I've installed thousands of fixtures and never seen a t6 or heard of one either. If the diameter is slightly off its probably a manufacturer's variance, the spacing of the pins is what really matters since t8 uses a different socket than t5.

The diameter of the bulb is SIGNIFICANTLY smaller than a T-8, and only slightly larger than a T-5. BUT, the pin spacing on this bulb is the same as a T-8, only a T-8 would never fit in the clips that hold the bulbs in place.

Bumping this, because I still can't find these bulbs and I'm hoping someone might see this that didn't see it before. If I can't find a bulb I'm going to end up having to get a whole new fixture, which costs money I don't really have right now.

Take the old lamp to a electrical supply house or granger.

Ok, finally found a tape measure and measured the bulb diameter. Best I could tell it is right at 5/8". So, I'll go back out today and scavenge the various lfs/hardware stores for T-5 bulbs with medium bi-pins.
