Lighting question

I want to put some live foreground plants maybe some grasses or baby tears I know I will need to upgrade my lighting. Also would like to add a few Amazon swords in the back. Any suggestions

Baby tears are notoriously difficult to grow unless you manage to give them everything they need...

High Light - T5-HO or equivalent lighting

Substrate - best to choose a dirt substrate with ferts for planted tanks

Pressurized Co2 - without this, you are almost guaranteed to fail with baby tears...

Ferts - good idea to give these plants some ferts regularly if you want a really thick / healthy carpet...
