I have a standard 75 gallon and am looking to go with live plants. Just some low light, hardy plants. I currently have just fluorescent bulbs that came with the tank. What would be a good light fixture to upgrade to for that size tank? Possibly without spending a ton of money. Maybe stay under $100.

For going low light, nothing fancy, and under $100... I'd go with a 48" T8 Diamond plated shop light, it uses 2 x 48" 32w T8 bulbs which are cheap to replace and will give you the lighting you want for a low light planted tank. I would go with 2x6500k bulbs with it...
