ok i wana buy bulbs for my 135g im on a budget for now so i just wana buy bulbs the tank came with 2 light fixturs each one takes a 24inch bulb. the tanks gana be black tile bottom and i painted the back of the tank black i wana know what colors to buy or what k to make my bichirs and tank stand out i was thinking purple and blue but what k idk im a lil lost thanks guys

i use a 48" Soft White kitchen and bath on my 130. i used the same bulb when i had my bichirs last year.

thats nice really like it but i have used this lighting for almost all my tanks i wanna try somthing new
Anything in the 5000 to 10000 kelvin range will look good, but different. Try out a couple at each end of the spectrum and decide which you like best.
