Lighting set up for flowerhorns?

Was wondering what type of flourescent tubes to get for a flowerhorn set up with white gravel.

im not sure what the difference between actinic white, 50/50, actinic blue, or any other type of tubes.

What type of tube would bring out the colors and pearls the best??

looking for a 48 inch tube.

I like the 50/50.

I too like the 50/50 but found it to be rather dull (that may be the point). Instead, I run a twin tube fixture with a 10K and an actinic.

I know a lot of cichlid folks like the Hagen Powerglo standard flourescent.
