I currently have 2 48" Glo double T5 HO fixtures hanging from my ceiling over my 210g and I want to get some moonlights but I want it to look clean as my Glo fixtures do hanging. Could someone help me with this dilema. BTW this is going to be my christmas gift from my girlfriend. I also want to add moon lighting to my 75 gallon in my room but I just have a fixture sitting on the top of the tank and I dont have tops covering the tank. How do I aquire moonlights easily being that im not a handy man and like I said my girlfriend is getting this for me for xmas.

Get a strip of LEDs and attach it to the back of your hanging light. I know you said you're not handy, but can you use double sided tape? Or get the LEDs that work underwater...

great product but already have $500 invested in my lights and want to spend only a 100-200 to get it lookin good.
I think you could spend a lot less than that and DIY rig some LEDs on your fixture. I only have 4 blue LED bulbs (not sue wattage, built into fixtures) on my 6 foot long 125, it lights up the tank more than enough at night.
How about some blue LED rope lighting, or blue LED light bars? You/she can get them on eBay and are in your price range. You can put them on the back side of your lights so they are out of view, or you can mount them inside the fixture if the reflectors will allow it.

I'm in a similar boat as the op. Setting up a new 90G and want a nice clean light setup with moonlights. Not looking to dump $500 on lights, maybe 100-200...
Other than fishing around on CL for a deal, so far looks like I'll have to sink in the cash for moon lights.
