Lighting?

I dont know much about the differences in lighting. so i was wondering what kind of light i should use for my 30 gallon to make everything pop out at you like some of the tanks i have seen on here. I have some plants in mind which will probably narrow my chioce but i dont know. Does anyone have any suggestions?

• Hydrilla
• Water lilies
• Cryptocoryne ciliata
• Java moss
• Limnocharis
• Water lettuce

quick and easy would cf set up 55w/65w. another option would be some t5 set up. WyldFya loves those. some more diy lighting would be those CFL. the spiral power compact bulbs that you can find at walmart home depot.

For most of the plants you listed, I'd just go with standard T12's, but if you want it to have more glow to it, then definitely go with either the CF bulbs or the HO T5s.
