does lighting affect live rock or algea growth in any way? im setting up a sw tank and have 2 18" standard flourescent powerglow bulbs right now, and an empty 48"standard fixture. what bulb should i put in it to get the best coraline growth and color? actinic or another powerglo or???

later on i want to upgrade to t5's but its not in the budget right now.

yeah the more intense the light the greater the algea growth..

i take overgrown caulerpa from one 29 (with a halide light) and move it into the other 29

what took 2 weeks to grow in the halide tank never gets noticably bigger under PC's
