Do fish benefit at all from tank lighting?? I keep Natives and some of the sunfish seem to be shy, unless its feeding time, But when i turn on the tank lites, then they hide mostly. When the lights are off and its only room light they swim around out in the open like nothings wrong. I thought it might be that i dont turn them on regularly, so i tried leaving them on for all day, but then the fish just hide all day.
