So, I'm looking at lighting for my 300 gallon aquarium, the dimensions are 96"x30". I am looking into the Marineland LED Doublebrights. I like the really bright daylights they put out and the built-in moonlights. I am doing freshwater, and may grow some plants. I am being told that they will be adequate for plant growth. The problem is they sell a 36" that is supposed to cover 48" areas. If I get two of these, will that work? I wanted two 48" fixtures to cover the entire area without shadows. Any suggestions? Or does anyone know of anything better for around the same price?
