Does the brightness of your lights on your tank cause fish to be skittish ? It seems as tho when I turn on the lights in the morning my 2 emperor sharks kinda get freaked out ? Plz let me no?

I don't know much about sharks but you may want to look into the best type of bulb for them, for example bichir are more comfortable in a dimly lit tank, maybe your sharks eyes are being hurt by the amount of light

And it could also just be excitement of seeing you, is it erratic or do they just fly around real quick then settle?
